currently running 153.0.1, in Windows 10 I started having trouble with web pages not working (I have auto-tab discard, so after a while the pages go dormant and when I go pack in they have to refresh) only they wouldn't refresh

I'd hit refresh and it would stay blank but if I opened it in a new tab it opened fine (noted this first in tumblr and youtube - probably since previous to last update) also opening links from an 'affected' (youtube video page that stops working) will also have those new tabs blank and eternally trying to load

then yesterday the problems ramped up; other pages start not working, not when I refresh, not when I open a new page. youtube videos will just stop loading, yahoo's inbox displays "no internet connection" warning (even when I can scroll tumblr, but the links still break) I can access those same pages and others normally in other browsers

also if I just keep working in the still half broken pages it gets to a point firefox simply stops allowing me to do anything on new tabs, it gets slower and slower, taking up to a minute to open one page (internet fine in other browsers). eternally frozen in loading pages do not allow me to access settings or react to pressing Alt, or pressing "stop loading"

I tried deactivating all extensions, I tried (and am currently writing this in troubleshoot mode) it still happens

if I restart firefox it works for a bit, and then starts breaking, timing seems rather random, (once it happened with one youtube video and one mail tab open, other time's i've opened several youtube videos a couple tumblr pages and one mail tabs (easiest to notice the "no internet connection in the mail tab)

Version 153 in general seems to be more buggy than previous.

• The most affected bug now is opening links in new tabs will endlessly show the loading animation in the favicon tab area, and the page will be blank failing to load the content.

• No choice but to restart Firefox in order for it to function again.

• Also, every time relaunching Firefox gives the "Firefox is already running" message pop up.

• This started happening after updating to version 153.

During the last 2 weeks, I have been unable to view and use my AOL emails, for the login page demands that I enter my mozilla primary password--the existence of which was unknown to me and thus, I never knew what it was and never had to use it in any way. I assume one was set when I began tom use firefox probably back in 2016. My big problem is that I must be able to use my AOL email system to complete various essential needs, How can I fix this idiocy that apparently places some kind of security above sane simplicity and ease of use for normal people who are not computer or Internet experts?

Anytime that I open a pdf using firefox the page will load but will just leave a blank page with nothing displayed. Reloading does not help and I have tried to change my settings around to no avail

I use Firefox Desktop as my primary browser for running a corporate consultancy agency. Recently, I've noticed an issue with Firefox's built-in PDF reader (pdf.js) on certain official interactive forms.

When downloading, previewing, and filling out business registration forms, MOA templates, or tax certificates from corporate web portals (such as the SECP Portal Pakistan for company name search and FBR verification tools), certain custom font fields in the PDF appear overlapped or fail to display input text properly.

Firefox Version: Latest Desktop Release (Windows 11) Issue: Form text fields in interactive PDFs fail to render non-standard font glyphs properly. I wanted to ask:

Is there a specific preference in about:config to force Firefox's PDF.js viewer to fallback to system fonts for interactive form fields? Is there a way to reset pdf.js rendering cache without clearing general site cookies and sessions for web applications? Any troubleshooting tips or about:config tweaks would be greatly appreciated. The Nvidia manual driver download page fails to complete loading, i,e, starts looping every 4 seconds never completing to select a driver download.

Have had no issues like this previously in 2026 up to July 2026.

Dozens of reboots every day due to video seizures only with Firefox. Tab crashes causes those I am ordered to support to LOSE WORK. After a tab crash and restore the FF interface is frozen -- no type of input from peripherals possible. This is all supposed to be solved by Monday. If I am out of luck with FF -- just tell me. That's very simple. New machines, new OS and it's worse than under the legacy systems we support after moving up from Win 7 Pro.

I have two files with the given content:

one.pdf .. the book jane eyre two.pdf .. the book adam bede

I go to https://duck.ai/chat and press the paperclip icon to upload a file. I upload one.pdf. I ask the AI to analyse it. It says it's jane eyre. This is correct.

On my disk, I rename one.pdf to one.old.pdf and rename two.pdf to one.pdf. I then ask the AI to reanalyse the file. It says its adam bede, which one.pdf now is, so that's correct too.

Under my understanding, if I upload something using HTML, it's uploaded. What I'm seeing above is the AI dynamically reaching into my hard drive and reading the current file. Note: I never uploaded a file containing adam bede, nor did I consent for it to be read by the AI.

What is going on there?
