Cannot add security exception after update to TB snap 140.2.0esr (64-bits) - dialog freezes

Hi all, After updating my snap Thunderbird to version 140.2.0esr (64-bit) on a Kubuntu 24.04.03 system, one of my email accounts is no longer able to send emails because the certificate is not recognised.

Adding a security exception always helped (because it concerns my own domain), but now the Thunderbird dialogue box freezes when creating an exception. Even entering the domain directly into security.tls.insecure_fallback_hosts (via about:config) does not result in the server setting I always used before the update being accepted.

Could it be that this component contains a bug? How could I test it? Perhaps someone has some ideas?

Thank you in advance for your input.

Marc
