this is not just another "i hate the new interface" comment...

this is a real question: what percent of firefox userbase must reject a change before it is considered a wrong change?

it seems firefox forum has a single purpose now: to tell users to forget their complaints and use what the developers want.

its cool you are developing this software for your personal use, but don't you want more people to use it? why not listen to them then ?!?

crazy thought.....

Just to let you know, we do take user feedback very seriously, and we have been monitoring feedback around Firefox 29 VERY closely. The vast majority of users are happy to very happy with the new design (From a survey of thousands of real Firefox users). Yes there was a spike in negative comments, but that was to be expected, upset users are more likely that happy users to give feedback, and any major change upsets users. However, users aren't moving away from Firefox in large numbers (in fact we are getting new users) and feedback is rapidly stabilizing (which we expected, users are happier with the new design after using it for awhile than when they first get it).

so no, the design isn't getting reverted.

Source: I read users feedback, send users surveys and write the reports that developers see.
