Hello! I am working on a brand new computer (i7 14700F, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super, 32GB DDR5) with a brand new install of Firefox and sometimes it just won't load certain pages without me stopping it, refreshing, and then (most of the time) it all pops in. Browsing the web works perfectly in Edge, but in Firefox it has been a struggle. Some sites, like Discord, load VERY slowly and most of the time I need to force a refresh via shift and hitting refresh. Discord will take so long to load any image that I see it as a colorful blur before the photo fully loads in for view.

I'm running the most recent version of Windows 11, Firefox v137.0.1 (also had this issue with v137).

I have tried things in Troubleshoot Mode and didn't make a difference. I uninstalled Firefox, removed the %APPDATA%\Mozilla\ folder, and reinstalled but no change. What I haven't tried is Refresh Firefox, but that's because since Troubleshoot Mode didn't make a difference it's a bit hard to imagine Refresh Firefox will -- but if people think it's worth trying I certainly will give it a go!

I've been a FF user for as long as I can remember and I really don't want to give it up so hopefully someone can help me figure out what's going on here because I am currently at a loss and it's a big bummer.

I had the same Firefox account before, and after I re-downloaded Firefox and logged in, my bookmarks and passwords that I had previously synchronized with my Firefox account were gone. I logged into this account and it was even recognized as a newly created account, what is going on?

Launching the new Firefox v137.00, it stalls for a long time, then I get the 'The connection has timed out' error. When I look into the Settings I notice in the Startup that both options available are greyed out. Under that that notice 'Firefox is currently your default browser' is displayed normally. So far I have done the following; re-installed v137.00, restarted with my antivirus & VPN (BitDefender)both on & off with no success. It thens drops an error file crash report but I have no idea what all that code means. Any ideas out there? Thanx In Advance!

This does not happen when accessing through Firefox on my iphone....just on the macbook

The title says it all. How do I know my crashed Dell Latitude 5500 (NOT E5500) , 512GB M2 NVME, 32GB DDR4 2400 RAM, W11 Pro x64 is now truly healed and with no glitches due to Firefox 137.0 x64 conflicting with Spectrum Security Suite (most current version by F-Secure {TOTAL} as of 03-31-2025) and thereby crashing the entire computer. I have recovered 90whatever percent functionality to the computer, but cannot take the chance of re-installing Security Suite if there is an unresolved conflict not yet addressed and corrected. I've seen the Mozilla Connection entry about another crash similar to mine involving a different Antimalware APP. And I have seen the posting about the fix applied to correct the same type issues with a Chinese provided Antimalware APP. Has ANYONE addressed Firefox 137.0 induced conflicts with other security APPS like my Spectrum Security Suite? I cannot re-install Security Suite until or IF the conflicts that crashed my Dell 5500 have been addressed and corrected. I'd had to use a 2nd backup computer to go online, find, download, copy to a USB thumbdrive, a "suite" of online security scanners AND proprietary uninstallers, copy all of those to the crashed computer, install the necessary ones, run the scanners to check for malware infection(s), none were found, THEN run the F-Secure uninstaller, successfully removing Security Suite. THEN I had to run Firefox in Safe Mode to find and correct all the damaged website URLs the crash involved. Some 30(?) websites I could not get to until i repaired them. NOW, how do I get Firefox 137.x checked for conflicts with Spectrum Security Suite and have them corrected so I can have my Firefox AND Antimalware APP running together? Sorry if this is not the right place to report this, this is my first time and im lost between all these 3 different pages "Discussions/Support/Bugzilla".

The latest Firefox (v137.0) update for Windows 11 that I installed today broke something possibly related to DRM-protected content, at least for me. Now whenever I start streaming live sports, the video always plays in the lowest quality (possibly even lower than the lowest option available in the player, for some reason?).

I tried to restart my PC, clear the cookies for that streaming website, disable all my extensions, but same issue. On my other browsers everything works fine as always, so only Firefox got broken after this last update.

I have both of these options turned ON even before the update: - Use recommended performance settings (Hardware acceleration). - Play DRM-controlled content.

Why do I think it's related to DRM? Because I can now record and take a screenshot of the video, unlike before the update where it always turned into a black screen.

Help please!

I'm on a 2017 Macbook Pro. I believe I was using Firefox 137.0 but have now gone back to the last saved update session file which is 133.0.3.

When I close Firefox, it clearly recognises all the open windows as it asks if I want to close all 6 windows. When I reopen Firefox it briefly shows all the windows in position but before it reopens all the tabs in those windows, 2 of them disappear. If I open a new tab and start typing something I know is in those missing windows it suggests "Switch to tab". If I click on that the current window dulls as if the requested window and its tabs have become active but the entire window is invisible. I have tried renaming xulstore and localstore and tried deleting xulstore entirely. Neither worked. It's possible that I hit some mental combination of shift, command and something near the 3 or 4 keys on the keyboard as I was trying to take a quick screenshot on a website before a pop up reappeared. This was the last session where everything was as it should be. I wish I hadn't gone back to the saved update session from December as its clear the app still recognises the windows are "there". I've reopened it so many times since having deleted tabs, cookies, whatnot that the session I was in before things went pear shaped is now long gone. If I click on the icon for recent browsing it shows 6 windows and I subsequently deleted some tabs from the missing windows that might've been an issue, were recent, or might use more power like Youtube or news sites. On restarting, the 2 missing windows remain invisible. In the words of Penelope Pitstop. "Hayulp!" Any guidance or tissues gratefully received.
