I run a WP elearning site (cd-dojo.com) and I prefer to use Firefox for everything.

Recently I added a plugin and experienced an error and WP went into recovery mode - displaying a message and an exit recovery mode button.

I have since resolved the error, but was perplexed because I could click the exit button but the messaging was persistent. I did everything I could think of - including the recommendations of tech support - until I was ready to reinstall a backup. Then I thought maybe it's a browser issue, so I logged in as admin in Safari and the message is gone. See screenshots below.

Since then I have tried everything I can to remedy with your support information including restarting the computer, clearing the cookies and cache, restarting in troubleshoot mode, and reinstalling firefox. Nothing has resulted in any resolution.

So, I'm presenting this to you. I can continue to work on the site using other browsers but I prefer to use Firefox. Can you help?

Seems like there used to be an option besides "Dismiss" to not show content from particular sites?

"Sent mail" grayed out and messages sent are not saved

I have 6 accounts on cox.net and today in two out of the 6 accounts, emails that I send are not saved and I get a message "Your message was sent but a copy was not placed… (மேலும் படிக்க)

I have 6 accounts on cox.net and today in two out of the 6 accounts, emails that I send are not saved and I get a message "Your message was sent but a copy was not placed in your sent folder (Sent) due to network or file access errors. The "sent" folders for these two accounts are grayed out. I have verified that the account settings have the right folder as the destination for the sent emails and have checked that all emails should be saved. I also get a message in Thundebird -The current command did not succeed. The mail server for account xxxxx responded [TRYCREATE} Mailbox doesn't exist. Mail goes out but no copy is saved. Only two out of 6 accounts are affected and I didn't do anything to them before this started happening.

I've been a Firefox fan for years. I thought I'd try Thunderbird. I'm in need of some help please as I'm going round in circles.

I am trying to link my btinternet email account to Thunderbird. Thunderbird cannot do it automatically so I have to enter the details manually.

I have all the right settings according to BT: Incoming POP 995, SSL enabled but not StartTLS. Outgoing Port 465, SSL enabled not StartTLS. mail.btinternet.com is used.

The User Name and Password are correct but Thunderbird cannot connect to the account. There are no Firewall issues.

Something is happening because BT have notified me of potential unauthorised access and I have to reset my BT password. Even when I enter the new BT Password Thunderbird cannot link to the account.

Any suggestions as to what might be causing the problem? Thanks.

Can't have separate SMTP setup?

This can't be this difficult. I need to setup a separate IMAP and SMTP server for accounts. I use SendGrid, so I need my IMAP to my server and SMTP using SendGrid's SMTP.… (மேலும் படிக்க)

This can't be this difficult. I need to setup a separate IMAP and SMTP server for accounts. I use SendGrid, so I need my IMAP to my server and SMTP using SendGrid's SMTP. However, it seems Thunderbird can't do this and only stores one password per account?

I hope there is a solution to this. With e-mail spam filters and such, if this isn't possible then I need to find another email solution. I've used Thunderbird for years and love it, but this might be what pushes me to something else, because I don't have a choice anymore.

I'm on a Mac running Monterey 12.7.4. I've been using Firefox for years with no issues. All of a sudden Firefox can't load any websites. Message: "We can’t connect to the server at www.XXX.ca." But Safari loads all websites with no problems. I can't figure this out.

Hi, in the past couple of weeks as I am moving selected emails from my Inbox to their Folders, the remaining emails in the Inbox have disappeared (twice)Most recently this Monday. I was able to have Yahoo recall /restore many of them Wednesday. Then Today Friday April 26; I selected an email in the Drafts Folder to Edit, by selecting the Edit button and it disappeared.

This all seems ODD. I have not changed any settings or done anything different. I have lots of storage on the Hard Drive. Would you kindly assist yours dennis

Using windows 10, windows firewall, windows antivirus, Thunderbird 115.9.0 (32-bit)

Can't send from Optimum accounts.

Error message "Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Spam detected by content scanner. Message rejected (ID 661FD756017B2BC6). Please check the message and try again."

Check outgoing server setting, tried changing authentication method, but got the same error.

in my 'podcasts' folder I have ~2 pages of folders of the type feeds.json-xxx.corrupt where xxx is some number, see attached image.

With the intention to re-subscribe to my feeds later, I have deleted all other folders in my podcasts folder. Trying to simply delete the feeds.json-xxx.corrupt folders did not work. How can I get rid of them?

(I am using the portable version of thunderbird)

I have previously (about 1 month ago) connected without issue to my Ionos email account. Today it will not connect. I have updated all the POP3/SMTP settings, read from the Ionos site. I have re-entered the current password too. My Gmail account downloads fine, it is just my Ionos account that will not load. I don't get an error but the last mail showing is in March (2024) and I have had hundreds since then.

Hi 😊 I’m trying to resolve my sisters’ issue with Thunderbird, and I know nothing about Thunderbird. When I open Thunderbird, I have an issue in that the Archive folder is there but no content is shown

Yet if I go to where the files are they seem to be there. They were working but I accidentally deleted the folder and out of the trash folder as well. If I go into “C:\Users\Sue\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Archives.sbd” where the emails and folders are, they seem to be there but not showing in Thunderbird when I click on any folder in Archive and are appear top be very small, i.e. empty.

I have screen shots if you require but thought not appropriate at this stage.

Account headers scrambled, inbox emails invisible

I am running Thunderbird on WIndows 10. I have eight different email accounts, but only one profile.

This morning on startup, all accounts and folders were gone and the "open your account" tab was open.

After several hours of frantic searching on the net, I took the most recent profile "prefs-9" and used it to overwrite "prefs.js" This brought back all my local folders and saved emails.

However, the email accounts used to be Wotsit@gmail followed by Inbox, Sent, Draft etc. Now the first account name has been moved, leaving behind its old Inbox, Sent etc with the correct email count but nothing at all in the right hand pane. The account header has re-appeared amongst other account headers but with nothing in the Inbox, Sent etc.

What I need to do is make all the emails visible in the "headerless" section, and return the correct header above them.

Here is what it sort of looks like -

Inbox (3) 2100 Sent 998 Drafts

Then further down after other accounts - Wotsit@gmail.com Inbox Sent Drafts

How can I move the Wotsit header back to where it should be?

I really appreciate the help you folks offer, and the time you put in helping us mere mortals!

Thank you for your assistance in advance. Since I updated my browser, I've encountered some issues when trying to maximize the virtual screen in my tv. I use a Mac and connect the screen to a web TV to watch YouTube in my big tv. However, when I click to maximize the window, the connection becomes unstable, and the virtual screen disappears every time I click the YouTube icon to do this. This problem never occurred before. I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue. Please let me know if you require any additional information from me.

Hello, I did look for related posts but found nothing close enough to this so I thought I would create a post. I don't ever recall having this issue before v102 was introduced but now it happens once in a while but not always.

If I am in the inbox of my main mail account and choose to delete a message, it goes away and then reappears almost immediately. There is a box that shows up at the bottom right of the screen that says: The current operation on inbox did not succeed. The mail server for account (my main mail account is shown) responded: UID MOVE failed. This account is in Canada on the Bell Canada network so perhaps it is an ISP issue?

I have 3 mail accounts set up - all IMAP. If I close TB and reopen it, the message is gone as if it required the program to close in order to complete the delete request.

If anyone has experienced this and has any suggestions or tips, it will be greatly appreciated. - Thanks, Mike

I am a Salesforce (improveit! 360) user, exclusively browsing with Firefox for over 12 years without any problems. The most recent Firefox update 125.0.2 (64-bit) has caused an issue with my staff calendar. I have reached out to improveit! 360 they are a force.com developer and they will not help, said the error is caused by Firefox interpreting the code. I have figured out a work around to get the calendar to load correctly for a short term solution. Below is a screenshot of the error, any help would be greatly appreciated.
