If the solutions above didn't help you please try this guide on manual removal of this virus - http://www.system-tips.net/guide-to-fix-browser-redirection-and-remove-browser-hijackers/
Please take care when reading instructions on other websites.
Instructions from system-tips.net mainly seem reasonable and useful however they often include a step involving their paid for software.
There are nearly always alternative methods of completing such steps either with free software or simple manual steps.

- AdwCleaner (see this alternate AdwCleaner download page for more information)
Ensure the tools are up to date, and use them all, as no single appliction catches everything, and once malware or adware has been present for any length of time there are often multiple issues.

It would had been great if you accepted the prompt for troubleshooting information.
Well in order to figure this out we need some non-personal information from you.
- Click the Firefox button at the top left, then click the Help menu and select Troubleshooting Information from the submenu. If you don't have a Firefox button, click the Help menu at the top and select Troubleshooting Information from the menu.
Now, a new tab containing your troubleshooting information should open.
- At the top of the page, you should see a button that says "Copy text to clipboard". Click it.
- Now, go back to your forum post and click inside the reply box. Press Ctrl+V to paste all the information you copied into the forum post.
If you need further information about the Troubleshooting information page, please read the article Use the Troubleshooting Information page to help fix Firefox issues.

I dont see anything wrong, does the searchreset tool work?
- Install the searchreset addon, when installed, it starts and resets search prefs, then uninstalls itself.
I had the same issue yesterday. But with search.qone8.com and with qvo6.com before. All you need to do is: 1) Download ADWCleaner (free) http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ 2) Check browser \ dns settings. Remove Start.qone8.com there http://remove-funmoods.com/how-to-remove-start-qone8-com-search-qone8-com-redirects/ OR ANOTHER OPTION: Make system restore for 1-2 months back

Does anything come up when you do a search for this site on the about:config page?
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.
See "Creating a profile":
- http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Profile_issues
If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from an existing profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem.
Hello,
Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a Clean reinstall. This means you remove Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:
Note: You might want to print these steps or view them in another browser.
- Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and save the setup file to your computer.
- After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (click Exit from the Firefox or File menu).
- Delete the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
- Windows:
- C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
- Mac: Delete Firefox from the Applications folder.
- Linux: If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it - see Install Firefox on Linux. If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
- Windows:
- Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
- Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
- Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.
Please report back soon!
Hope this helps!
Curtis
This solved my problem:
1- Right click on Mozilla Firefox shortcut and click on properties.
2- In the target field remove all after the quotes, for example in the case "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"http://start.qone8.com, remove http://start.qone8.com
