Soundcloud embedded player doesn't play sometimes

I embedded the a soundcloud file in a website. It plays well in Chrome and IE, but not in Firefox 20.0.1. It should play HTML5 audio. There is a nice rotating image in the player, but no sound.

The strange thing is: some files do play in Firefox (all do in Chrome and IE) and some don't. Anyone experiencing this odd behavior? And is there anything I can do?

Hi!

Have you asked in the Soundcloud technical forum? http://developers.soundcloud.com/support

Could you share the link to the page where you are trying to embed this element so we can take a look?

Thanks, Ibai

I too have the same problems despite all the support help. However these solutions do not seem to work. Have tried everything. Begin to wonder whether there is a solution?

Did you try this in a new and clean profile?

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from an existing profile to the new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

It is a Firefox-Soundcloud issue. So creating another profile won't help. I guess we just have to wait until one of the involved parties come with a solution, or even better if they work out a solution together.

Can you post a link to a publicly accessible page that doesn't require authentication (signing on)?
