Code 7024 and error code 7034 with stalled window opening. How do I cure?
When I click to open a new session, the little circle on the tab keeps spinning and spinning. Only when I click on "Reload" does it break the stall. No error codes are displayed at that time. In response to another help item I enabled an item in the "reged" section and I now receive the 7024, 7034 codes without clicking on anything. I have reset Mozilla from scratch [Firefox 18] and still get the codes. The sessions are a little faster now.
I have no idea if the codes relate to Windows 7 or Mozilla. I have been troubleshooting in Windows with no satisfactory results yet.

What do you mean with opening a new session?
Are you closing and restarting Firefox or opening a new tab or window in the current Firefox session?
Did you check the home page setting?
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies":
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

You can also check for problems with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox Profile Folder that store session data.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder

Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).
