When saving a file, I don't want Firefox to use the build in solution.

I save many files in many different places. I'm looking for a solution that quickly lets me choose the right folder. Something like Q-Dir, with tabs and such. The "Favourites" in Windows Explorer don't do it for me. Is there any way to change FFs behaviour?

Maybe look for extensions to see if you can find one that does this.
