How do I restore the websites in a New Tab? All that I have is a black screen with the Edit button.

I go to a website that I want to save with others in the New Tab and right click add to top sites. Nothing happens. The New Tab was very helpful in going to sites that I don't include in the bookmark toolbar.

In the New Tab screen I used to have about 15 images of websites that I could click on one to go to that site. I could easily add to, delete, or re-arrange the images.

hello, have you used an extension to get this behaviour in the past? firefox has introduced its own new tab page with 9 of the most visited pages (they are customizable though). maybe this is interfering with the addon. please refer to the following article in order to use the new feature in firefox: Customize your Firefox New Tab page

or in case you want to continue using your existing addon please consult its website or developer in order to configure it correctly to replace the inbuilt new tab page....

Hi, I had already tried the information from Firefox's articles, and nothing has helped. I had thought that what I had was a Firefox addon. I wonder why my New Tab page is what I had before without the images of websites. I have tried various ways to add sites to that page with no success.

when you enter about:config into the location bar & search for the preference named browser.newtab.url, which value is it set to? whe you right-click and reset that to its default value (about:newtab), you would receive the inbuilt page of firefox...

hey, then it's an extension that is overwriting the normal page - you could try if it's working correctly when you launch firefox in safemode once. if so please disable all extensions in firefox > addons > extensions and reenable them one by one until you find out which one is causing it (a restart of the browser might be necessary after each step)
