marquee display wrong

I am designing a new web site, it contains a table column with a div and a marquee with vertical scroll. when the page is loading, firefox 4.0.1 shows the full list of all the content of the marquee element overflowing outside the td itself, once the page loads completely the marquee displays correctly. This does not happen on Chrome, IE9 or Opera.
