I want to select a bunch of bookmarks to move them to a new folder, but I can't figure out how to do that without the "manage bookmarks" option.

Bookmarks>Shaw All Bookmarks>Import And Export or if U want to manage gust use drag and drop or copy and paste.

You can use the above option Bookmarks>Show All Bookmarks or can just simply press ctrl+shift+B to get into the Library (bookmark organizer) to manage all your the links that you have been bookmarked.

Notwithstanding "Show All Bookmarks" sounding much less intuitive for "Where do I go to edit these things?" than "Manage Bookmarks"...

...neither the "Show All Bookmarks" option nor the keyboard shortcut causes anything to happen for me. No Library pops up - nothing happens. Weird. I'm using the Mac version; I'm unsure if any other Snow Leopard users out there are experiencing the same issue?

Bookmarks/Show All Bookmarks/Bookmarks Toolbar/Organize/New Folder

Be sure to select Bookmarks Toolbar under Show All Bookmarks and NOT directly from Bookmarks.

How obtuse. Talk about a step backwards. And on top of that, once I get to that window, it isn't showing my my unsorted bookmarks, which is the whole reason I wanted to go to it- I wanted to sort them. Duh.

I agree emphatically with blueparrot and other cranky geeks here. "Show All Bookmarks" seems in every way to me to be a wrong-headed regression which has little or nothing to recommend itself as a replacement for "Manage Bookmarks"

My use of Firefox bookmarks is critical to my choice of this browser and I believe there are many who organize things so.

So....don't fkcu up our bookmarks!

You open the Bookmarks Manager if you click the Unsorted Bookmarks item in the Bookmarks menu to see that folder. The change is also to reflect the same text that you see in the History menu to access the same Library.

I find it completely counter intuitive to select "Show All Bookmarks" when one tries to get rid of some. It is wrong-headed and is an inadequat replacement for "Manage Bookmarks".

You also open the Library to see the Unsorted Bookmarks as accessed via menu item at the bottom of the Bookmarks Menu.

Given that I'm a bookmark hoarder, and probably have over 1000 that I carry from machine to machine; browser to browser, I really need to be able to "Manage my Bookmarks".

I do not have any interest or the time to "View all my Bookmarks"!

I'm delighted to find that the functionality is basically the same, but the name is VERY misleading!! ;)
