some websites especially ebay lose their frames so items overlap. using XP SP3

i have tried to reinstall Firefox and even upgrade to Firefox 4 beta but no improvement. problem does not occur in IE8. Example shown with link below http://www.wellscityharriers.org.uk/Joomla/images/ebayexample.pdf

  • "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
  • "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Hi, thanks for that. certainly works, but problem quickly comes back and i have to clear the cache again. problem came back twice within 12 hours of light browsing.
