Opening my X (Twitter) page

Started using Firefox as my default a few days ago. Whenever I open Twitter, I'm taken to my Notifications screen instead of my Home screen. Not THAT big a deal, one click gets me where I want to be, but still a minor annoyance. Maybe it takes me to that page if I have some new notifications? Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hi, how are you getting to X?

If it's through a bookmark, it's possible that the old address is being redirected now after a change on the site. You may need to update your bookmark.

If it's by typing part of the name in the address bar and then selecting a suggestion, perhaps that is being redirected now after a change in the site?

If it's by searching for X on your normal search site and following a link, hmm, normally you would expect the page where you land to match the description on the search results.
