Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs here.

This started after the Apple update within the past 24 hours? We are starting to see more reports of this.

The first five are crashes in the JIT component (Just-in-Time JavaScript compiler). As a quick test, can you run Firefox in its Troubleshoot Mode and see whether it is stable? The compiler is disabled in Troubleshoot Mode; but also all your extensions, so depending on how important those add-ons are to your browsing experience, it's probably not a long-term solution.

If Firefox is running:

You can restart Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode using either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > Help > Troubleshoot Mode... (before Fx88: Restart with Add-ons Disabled)
  • (menu bar) Help menu > Troubleshoot Mode... (before Fx88: Restart with Add-ons Disabled)

and OK the restart. A small dialog should appear. Click the Open button (before Fx88: "Start in Safe Mode" button).

If Firefox is not running:

Hold down the option/alt key when starting Firefox. (On Windows, hold down the Shift key instead of the option/alt key.) A small dialog should appear. Click the Open button (before Fx88: "Start in Safe Mode" button).

Note: Don't use the Refresh without first reviewing this article to understand what will be deleted: Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings.

Can you regain control of your searches?

I would say the last week, but seems worse today. I will try troubleshooting bode and report back.

No issues in troubleshooting mode. I assume that means its an add-on issue?

Based on the crashes, it could be a JavaScript compiler issue, but I don't know what code is running at the time the compiler crashes, whether it's add-on code or page code. Maybe someone with a sharper eye can determine that from the crash reports.
