Hi, I have a problem with attaching vCard to the single message. I can attach it to all messages in acount settings (see mail-2) but "Personal Card" option is inactive (see: mail-1).

I've no idea what's the problem

Ok, I understand but on my machine it doesn't I modified two parameters in settings editor (see attached pictures). Maybe it is important but I think it shouldn't be.

You wrote this in a prior post: "If I check option "always include vCard" than in compose window "attach the vCard" is also checked and vCard will be attached to the messege."

but now you say that doesn't work. You continue to confuse.

Forgive me, maybe my English is not so good but from the beginning I'm still saying the same. So, I'll try to write everything (once again) in points: 1. If "always include..." is checked than "attach the vCard" (in compose window) also checked and looks active. If I try to click "attach the vCard" - nothing happens. In that case Thunderbird including and sending vCard with message. 2. If "alwasy include..." is unchecked than "attach the vCard" (in compode window) is unchecked and inactive. Thunderbird not including the vCard to the messege.

Set it so that vcard is attached. Then send an email to yourself. When received, save the vcard attachment in a familiar place with a name that you select. Nexe, reset Thunderbird to NOT include the vcard. At this point, when wanting to attach a vcard, just compose your message and click 'attach' and select the vcard file.

Ok, I tried to do what You suggest. I save this "incoming" vCard in "my documents" folder but everything is similar like previously. I still can't attach the vCard in compose window. This option is still inactive. I give up, forget it, it doesn't matter. Thank You so mach for all time what You spend trying to help me. Maybe You know where this vCard is placed? Maybe it is possible to put vCard into this special place manually than will be usable in compose window? Maybe that's the way to get it? Who knows?
