After updating Firefox, I now have a horizontal line across the upper portion of my computer screen. I have uninstalled FF and updated again thinking it would remove it. I have searched for a resolution and nothing has worked for me. I don't want to have to pay an expert to remove the line. Please give me a fix for this as it is really bothersome.

Guys, Thank you for trying to help me with this issue, but I am just going to make that this problem is solved. All the stuff that I would need to do is WAY over my head. I'm afraid that something else will get messed up if I do things that I don't fully understand. I'm used to going to our IT guy when I was still working to have him clear up any issues I had.

I will mark this "problem solved".

Thanks again.

Hello,

In order to better assist you with your issue please provide us with a screenshot. If you need help to create a screenshot, please see How do I create a screenshot of my problem?

Once you've done this, attach the saved screenshot file to your forum post by clicking the Browse... button below the Post your reply box. This will help us to visualize the problem.

Note: If you have problems when uploading the image to this forum, you can use imgur. com or a similar image host if the image appears to hang on upload, then add a link to the image. However, this may delay a response if the external link needs review by a moderator.

Thank you!

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

I have tried for 30 minutes every way to take a screenshot and nothing has worked so far. It would be easier for me to take a picture of the screen and attached it to an e-mail. I haven't used screenshot in several years. Any advice. Everything I've tried is not working for me.

I have an appointment to go to and will have to look at this again later. I tried to attach a picture of it, but says the picture is too big. No matter how small I make it, it logs an error and says it's too big.

I have tried everything I know how to do to sent you an image and nothing works. I made the picture as small as possible and when I use your "browse" button to choose the file and click on it, it says that it is invalid or no image. Yet, when I pull it up on my computer, it looks just fine. I have no idea what else to do. I guess I'll just have to live with it, sadly.
