I hate some of your suggestion on the drop down menu below the address bar. Why can't you let me get rid of some or ALL of them?

I described my whole issue above: I intensely dislike some of the choices you have made for me such as Facebook on your drop down menu below the address bar. Why can't you let me change or delete some or ALL of then?

There are at least two places in Settings where you can change what appears in the address bar. First, on the 'Search' page under "Search Suggestions". Secondly, on the "Privacy & Security" page under "Address Bar".

The items that appear on the drop-down when you first click on the address bar -- before you type any text for Firefox to type -- are the first 8-10 shortcuts from the built-in Firefox Home / new tab page. You have a couple different choices for managing those:

(1) Curate the shortcuts list to be more useful to you

You can unpin/dismiss the default sites and add your own. More info in this article: Customize items on your Firefox New Tab page

(2) Don't show shortcuts in the address bar drop-down.

On the Settings page, uncheck the relevant box:

Can you get it working the way you want?
