where is the option to use bookmarks to come up in search bar while typing in a website ?
I had a windows 10 crash and had to reload all my programs, but I had bookmarks html saved. I reinstalled FF and then started searching various websites I had searched before. I guess any history i had would have been lost in the crash, but sites i visited before and were favorites, weren't coming up right away or at all. I can't find a option to use bookmarks to predict websites I've saved in bookmarks. Thanks.

You can import a bookmarks.html file in the Bookmarks Manager (Library).
- Bookmarks -> Show All Bookmarks -> Import & Backup

Ok, I'll be clear. Bookmarks imported, but when i search previously visited sites, usually the bookmark would pop up in search, but its not happening. ie it i had mozilla.org. saved and typed in mo, the website would previously fill out fully in the address bar.

Fixed. I actually disabled Provide search suggestion si the search options and it worked. bookmarks and history come up first in search results and autocomplete.
