In Russia, the practice of blocking resources has flourished lately. Under the blocking were wordpress.com, github, placekitten and others.

To date, all updates and distributions of joomla have been blocked. (here is screencast - https://yadi.sk/i/Bw38oV1V3PyNwS)

Yes, I can get the updates that I need, for example by downloading them from the github. Or use the built-in Opera vpn. But I do not want to use the Opera. I love Firefox.

Do you plan to implement similar functionality (VPN) in Firefox?

P.S. I do not want to use extensions. Using extensions raises additional questions. And the main one is trust in the developer

Thanks!

Developers do not come to these pages unless chasing a bug or gathering info on one.

A few more to look at, some may not work. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/about/forums/

Would not Tor be the answer for private browsing, it is built on Firefox https://www.torproject.org/download/download-easy.html.en
