How do I delete old email account settings ?

Before updating Windows 10 I usually use Mozbackup to backup T'bird. I then restore emails and settings after the update concludes safely. Everything restores well except my email account settings, which are OLD settings for a previous ISP two years ago. I must correct the settings to send and receive emails, but the next time I backup and restore the old settings are restored again. Where is Mozbackup finding the old settings? How do I delete them ? I only have 1 default email account.
