crashing after start up
When I start firefox it goes to the homepage. The home page stays up for 30 seconds or less then firefox crashes. Then the submit crash report comes up. But when I try to submit the crash report sometimes it sends the crash report and other times I get an error message that says it crash report failed. I updated to the latest version of firefox. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling but neither of those fixed it. This has been happening for a week. I am getting tired of not being able to use the internet on my computer. I am still running Windows Vista and have no plans to upgrade to any other windows versions anytime soon since my computer still works without any problems. I should mention that google chrome and internet explorer still work on my computer but I wont use them because I dont like them. Please help me get firefox working again.

What is your computer system and Firefox?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).
Is the problem still there?
While still in Safe Mode,
In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.
The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.
Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.
(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)
