Font changes when link inserted...

Hello,

I'm using T-Bird 45.1.0 on a Win 7 Pro PC.

I now find that when I compose an e-mail in Ariel Helvetica and insert a link the font changes to sans serif and I'm unable to change it back.

This doesn't happen 100% of the time, but does occur frequently.

I don't know exactly when this began but in the past I had no such problem.

Anyone able to help?
