Thunderbird 45/Lightning 4.7 broken (Mac OS X - 10.11.4)

Since update to TB45 and even after update to Lightning 4.7 calender not functional - The two previous calendar entries shown on the left side but no events - Calendar properties can't be changed - no action - No new calendar can be added - no action

Even uninstall, reinstall did not help - I guess, I am not the only person with the problem considering the comments in the add-on review section

Any ideas?
