When are the Firefox programmers going to fix the obvious incompatibility of the latest version of Firefox with Google and Gmail? My account freezes hourly.
I have always loved Firefox and have been using it almost since its inception. However, this later version is reeking havoc. It is incompatible with Google search, with Gmail and with LibreOffice, a sister free program. The safe mode recommendation is not solving the problem. Please do not overengineer Firefox in the future. Is anyone working on fixing the incompatibility with the Gmail suite. I hope so. I do not want to have to stop using Firefox.

Please give an example where this is not working, and keep in mind, if we cannot find a solution here, and there are multiple computers affected, and a new profile also gives the same results please consider webcompat.com
Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) to see if that helps.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
The problem is not present in Internet Explorer, so it is obvious a Firefox problem. In my case. Gmail will only work in simple mode. My internet connection is B or B+, 10 Mb. Used to be plenty!
