is there a way to have recipients vote?
just wondered if you can add a feature to enable voting via email? recipients to vote on a question and then submit it back to the original sender. similar to outlook.

Vote for what? How would voting help the original poster on this Help forum with their particular issue as it would provide no information of assistance.
Do you mean the original poster needs the facility to vote on their own query, a sort of 'did this response help you' ?
via the forum there are 'I have this problem too' and 'Was this helpful to you?' options which are a form of voting.
The OP can also select to choose a 'Chosen Solution'.

I am asking if there is a way to send e-mails with 'voting buttons' to help with a quicker reply and then analysis of the reply. Just wondered

ok, thanks. so the answer is no Thunderbird does not have this feature.
