A copy of messages where all recipients are BCC'd are not being saved in my Sent folder, but all other messages are.

A few days ago, I updated Thunderbird. Since then, any message I send where all recipients are BCC'd (for privacy) do not get saved in my Sent folder. It appears that all other messages are being saved as normal. We rely on the saved version in the Sent folder as a record of what information is sent to our participants. Please help!
