I have a very strange problem. Whenever I load an image heavy page, sometimes the images disappear. I don't even know if the images loaded or not. I have Verizon Fios with 50MB up/down so images aren't a problem. This only started happening recently. Even stranger is that if I go to page with this issue, and then I click on a tab for another website, the images disappear on those websites too! The images in the previous website already fully loaded, so I know it's not a connection issue.

Oh, I forgot to mention, the images that don't show up, the page is just blank. If I refresh the page, the images might come up. I know there are images in those posts because it's a message board and the thread is specifically about posting images.

More information. The images are mainly animated gifs.

The link below contains a lot of images of creepy crawly insects. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1032823&page=2

When this weird glitch happens, sometimes the gifs don't show up, or completely stop loading. If I click on another tab like facebook, my already loaded images all come up blank. Happens with youtube as well.

Again, that facebook image I loaded was already fully loaded when I switched to another tab.

Did you make sure that your security software isn't causing this issue?

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test.

I have Avast Anti-Virus, but I've been using that for years and years. I'll give your advice a try and report back.
