I keep getting a "suspicous pop-up saying,: "You need to download Firefox 32.0." It seems to be from Fifefox, is it? BTW. Love your site.

. Whenever you get a message / popup that software / files need to be updated;

DO NOT USE ANY OF THE PROVIDED LINKS

While this may be a legitimate message, it could also be Malware or a Virus. Any time you want or need to check for upgrades, go to the web site of the True Owner of the program in question. For example, to check out Firefox, go to Mozilla.org. {web link}

You can sent a report to The FBI via their web site Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) {web link}

You can also report such a site at; Google Report Phishing Page {web link} which is the same when done while on site by going to Help > Report Web Forgery

Hello, it looks like you are using Firefox 29.0.1, and should update to the latest version which is 32.0.2.

if the pop up looks suspicious, don't download from it. You can update Firefox by going to:

  • Help > About Firefox, or New Fx Menu > Help-29 > About Firefox
  • The dialog box that opens should automatically check for and install new updates

Alternatively you can download a new copy at: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

I am not quite sure what you mean by video service. The videos in the Mozilla Knowledge Base articles use YouTube.

Note that you should always update Firefox and install the latest version from the Mozilla servers and never via a link on other web pages.

You can find the full version of the current Firefox 32.0.2 release in all languages and for all Operating Systems here:
