been using firefox for some time now, updated to v29 and found it slower then previous version. about 2 weeks ago, loading times started to get slower/longer, even with the same amount of plugins installed, tried starting in safe mode, with all addons disabled and got the same result.

have run a speedtest and all seems normal on my end, gaming online as well as streaming vids seem ok as well, only take more time to load vids tho.

any solution to this problem?

well sometimes speed tests and believable whats hard to think. Try reinstalling Firefox and reconnect your internet. Good Luck, Mitch!

did a full uninstall n re-install, that seemed to do the trick, thanks!

Note that such issues can possibly be caused by security software (firewall, anti-virus) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
