Is there a setting where Firefox can ask "whether you want to save downloaded file or open it" as default for every download?

Every time a download a file e.g. (pdf) or something else Firefox wants me to first download it to my computer b4 opening it. This is annoying because most times i know want i am downloading and just want to open it without all the drama, i believe this must be a security thing in your app.

This is making me use other browser when i know i want to download for simplicity seek.

It should be left like of old whereby you get prompt if you want to open or save the file. The choice should be left to the user and not the App forcing you to use a specific approach.

You firefox may download autometically without asking you, choose download folder from Firefox option, See

after downloading any file when Firefox prompt you to save where do you want, click open each time instead of save
