Windows 10: Word, Excel attachments to Thunderbird mails marked as corrupted

Just installed Windows 10. Now every time I try to open a Word, Excel attachment to Thunderbird, I get an error message saying the file is corrupted.

Other, programmes, such as Foxit can however read the attachments fine.

Anyone else got this problem, or know how to solve?
