how to connect to live verbling class using firefox browser
no one seems to have the answers yet --- many of us are forced to use the google chrome browser as it is a google hangout program and that works just fine ---- i prefer to use my firefox browser as i used to -- but i have tow minutes to connect or i lose my spot in entering a live class---- the ALLOW button use to appear on my screen at the top and i was able to cl on it to proceed into class -- at present it states allow is needed to enter and i am not able to locate that little window or button anymore --i am using the updated firefox browser all the time --- help help big time thankyuuuuuuuuu Paul-T

Hi Paul,
I think you need to install a plugin to get Google Hangouts to work. Go to this page and click on "Download Plugin"
Let us know if that solves your problem.
yes yu do -- in the past yu would have to install a plugin from google to enter the class-- it is a paid subscription to enter live classes-- i have always had the plugin installed-- there were some changes made and it became nore difficult to get things to work using my firefox browser then i could no longer ------next came the plug in yu referred me to which allows me to connect with another person and have my own google hangout but appears to have no connection to a verbling class entrance -- i had them both set up and continued to have same difficulty -- because yu have two minutes to make it work i would lose my place at the table and I wound up installing the google browser in order to participate -- which is what google would prefer i am sure ---so problem continues at this point -- i do believe if i can get to the allow button as in past i can make it work but have not been able resolve that simple task
Take a look at this article Why do I have to click to activate plugins? specifically the section titled How to always activate a plugin for a trusted website You should be able to click on the plugin icon and then select allow and remember.
Alternatively, click on the menu button->Add-ons. Then click on the Plugins tab. To the right of the Google hangout plugin(s) you willl see a drop down. Change it to Always activate- then you don't need to worry about clicking allow. This does pose a minor security risk, don't do it for outdated plugins.
