How do I enable pop-ups which blocked in my firefox 6.0.2 even after putting in exceptions or Block Pop-up widow is unchecked.

I have tried both the options : 1. First I blocked Pop-ups at Tools->Options->Content-> Block Pop-up window by checking it and then entering Exceptions.

2. I unchecked Pop-up window to allow the pop-ups at all times.

I checked the results after restarting the Firefox browser, not only once but many a times ( over a period of time).

My Firefox does not allow Pop-ups. I am unable to use this browser for many a sites.

Now the browser does not remember the previous session and I need to open all the tabs manually, one by one each time I close and reopen the browser.
