Windows glass turns off randomly. When I open a new window, the glass is working, but not on the old window.

When i start firefox, the Windows Glass (Aero) is on. Randomly during a browsing session, it will turn off and the glass will just turn into a single color with no transparency. If I open up other programs, or even a new window in firefox, the glass is still working for those windows. However the original firefox window remains opaque. What is happening? If it helps, I am running Windows 7 64 bit and Firefox.
