Running Firefox 61.0.1 on a MacBook Air (High Sierra 10.13.6) and tried to access southwest.com website. Have gone to this site 1000s of times with no issues. Today, issue. This issue appears when I auto fill an URL. But not all the time. If I use an existing Bookmark, the site loads normally.

Tried clearing cookies, that did not help. Have not changed any of my settings since the last time I went to this site.

Attached is a the screen grab showing the error message.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Just clicked on the link and loads just fine. But I am using Windows 10 FF61.0.1. Do you have adblockers loaded? What A/V are you using?

That Reference # message is usually generated by an intermediary device that protects sites against denial of service or other attacks. It typically blocks ranges of IP addresses from which attacks are originating for a few hours.

Is there a big difference between the bookmarked address and the autofill address (which usually is just the home page)?

Compare what the bookmark is and to what your typing in and what the end result is in the browser address bar.

Notice if it redirects. If it does, use the URL that shows up at the end and not what you have been typing in.

You might want to see if Ghostery is effecting it and as Westend asked what A?V are you using as there are issues with some.

Thank you for your replay. It seems like the issue started when I installed the latest FF update. The Southwest address is not book marked, I use the site frequently so I access via auto fill.

I use Ghostery (and have been for a few years). I tried getting to the site with Ghostery paused but still had the same issue. My Air is hooked up to an HP external moniter, Logitech keyboard (dongle) and mouse (dongle). I have the current set-up for a couple of years.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for your help. I figured out what the problem is (based on your replies), those sites are blocking my ISP. When I turn on my VPN app (Hotspot Shield), the sites load with no problem. Kind of annoying but at least I have a simple solution. Will contact my ISP and let them know.
