Problem with camera when scanning qr code

When the device is portrait and open up to scan the qr code, the camera is correct. When you rotate the iPad (landscape), the camera also rotates. The problem I’m reporting with is that the iPad is locked in landscape and when you scan a qr code, the camera is incorrectly displaying as if the iPad is in portrait. To fix it, you have to rotate to fix it but some people love using their iPads locked in landscape.
