Since Firefox was last updated, I cannot see Checkboxes on a site I use frequently. The website works OK in EDGE and IE.

In some cases there is nothing displayed on the page. In others where it is in a table a coloured square is displayed. I have seen other posts about MSTHEME.... which is no use to me as I dont have any control over the website in question.

Can you uninstall please the older Flash version 23 please. As well uninstall version 25 or use the updater within the flash control panel to update as they are both outdated and security risks. Download ver 26.131 from https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ or as said through the Flash control panel. Make sure you un-tick any unwanted software or services and once new version has installed check to see if still have the issue and to come back and let us know. If this solves your problem please come back and mark as solved.

It could also be that the website is having issues in their code which has MSTHEME as you say. It is a MSTheme I would think for MS Browsers to see something, buy my quick search it is web page coding on their site. Web pages should be built for all browsers but sadly that is not always true. To see if there is a difference try using IE or Edge to figure out the theme and where they put what you want to click on. If there is a difference sometimes need to contact their webmaster.

Though I have had more stuff called msstyles so ya it could be Firefox not rendering it properly. If so someone else with more knowledge will help you. Thanks

I have updated Flash and this has had no effect.

I dont really understand what you want me to do with the theme. This worked until recently. It works in IE and EDGE in the same manner that it used to work in Firefox.

Thanks,

Mike

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Options/Preferences -> Advanced -> General -> Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.
