thunderbridge has frozen thunderbird: not working!

After installing Thundebridge Add-on in order to make it work with my VPN, Thundebridge has frozen. It doesn't work. I can see all my contacts but it is all blank concerning the mail folders in the main page.

Impossible to enter in the add-on configuration to uninstall it. I uninstalled Thunderbird but again -when I re-install it- it won't work. My version is 52.1.1

How do I remove completely this add-on and make my thinderbird work again? Please answer soon !

Start Thunderbird in safe mode from the command line and remove the add-on. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode
