Hi Greg!

This isn't a direct solution to your problem, but it appears to only be an issue if you are logged into a Microsoft account. What appears to be happening is that Bing checks whether you are logged in each time you click a topic in the sidebar. If you are logged in, it redirects Firefox.

What this is essentially doing is creating two history items in Firefox. Therefore, when you push the back button in Firefox, instead of going back to the previous topic, it's going back to page that checked if you are logged in and then bouncing you right back to the topic that you were just at.

There are two workarounds I can suggest for you at the moment. Either logout of your Microsoft account while browsing Bing News or press and hold the back button on Firefox. This will give you a list of pages and you can manually select the page that you want to go back to.
