What are you using as your homepage?

This is not a cure but should let the web page load without crashing.

Flash block {web link} Never be annoyed by a Flash animation again! Blocks Flash so it won't get in your way, but if you want to see it, just click on it

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

While still in Safe Mode,

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open the Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac=<Command>) <Shift> A)

On the left side of the page, select Plugins. Make sure the ones you want to use are set to Ask or Allow.

I've tried all tos things now and I still get the same error messages from Firefox even when doing something that does not need Flash Player! Adobe Flash Player does not appear in the list of Plug-ins when installed !

It's   'Shockwave Flash'  that should show up in your plug-ins.
You'll find Adobe Flash Player when you go to Windows Control Panel > All Programs > Click on   'Flash Player'  and the Flash Player Settings Manager will appear. Click on   'Updates'  to see if you're running   23.0.0.207

That's Windows Icon > All Programs near the search box on the bottom.

On my Win 7, It's Control Panel > Flash.

I usually click on the magnifying glass icon and type:   'Flash'. That takes me to it as well   ....... When you go to the Control Panel, you get   'all programs'   straight away.

You may have to uninstall and the reinstall   Adobe Flash Player;   see :

I have uninsalled and reinmstalled both Firefox and Flash Player several times but it has not cured the problem!
