I can't send or receive emails

I've just deleted my email account off my Macbook due to a server change with site5. But now I can't receive or send emails.

When trying to send its constantly 'copying message to sent folder..' but it never sends.

When clicking on 'Get messages' nothing happens. nothing at the bottom. nothing. I've sent myself emails to test it.

I've checked and double checked the settings but now I've run out of options.

Please help?!

Ok just an update: The email SENT from my account but it didn't want to save in my sent folder.
