Thunderbird is only downloading old messages froo Gmail, 150 at a time
I have recently bought a new laptop which has Windows 8.1, now Windows 10. On my old laptop I had Thunderbird and I loved it, and I had it set up exactly as I wanted. I tried using Outlook for a couple of weeks but I am missing Thunderbird terribly as Outlook is useless for my purposes (or anybody's, so it seems). Now I am trying to install it using my Gmail account - I have about 45000 messages in my inbox, and I had them all on my old Thunderbird configuration. When I try to upload them now it only uploads about 250 at a time, and then only from 2010. I thought maybe I could set aside a day to keep pressing 'get messages' until I have them all, however it has reached a stage where it says 'no more messages to download' when this is plainly not the case, so now I have 1500 messages from 2010. I want to have all my messages stored locally as it makes things a lot easier for me. It also hasn't picked up my subfolders. I really want to sort this out as my business depends on it. Any suggestions gratefully received! Thanks!
