why my firefox, current default set to yahoo, continuously keeps searching 127.0.0.1:30761, then refreshes within seconds, and repeats search/refresh.

I have removed firefox and re-installed firefox but the same problem. This only affects firefox, not IE or Opera.

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.
