On news sites like MSN/AOL/Fox, certain videos screens stay blank. Messages as indicated above or Error: No valid source can be found. I do not have this problem when using Safari. I have Silverlight 5.1.30514.0 & Quicktime 7.7.3 plugs installed and on Always Active. I just installed Firefox on my new computer and have not had this experience before. I am using a Imac with Maverick. Thank you for your help. Bob

Please post the web addresses where you are having problems.

What are you using as a video player? Did the error message say what was missing?

With the last Firefox upgrade, some plugins are no longer enabled until you enable it.

Open the Add-ons Manager by Pressing the Alt or F10 key to bring up the tool bar. Followed by; Tools > Add-ons.

Hot key; <Control> (Mac: <Command>) <Shift> A)

On the left side of the page, select Plugins.

BTW; At the top right is a link to check your plugins.

I had just received a recondition Imac and had been in the process of setting it up when I discovered this problem. I had checked all the plugins to make sure they were active and found that they were. However it was sometime later that I found that Adobe Player had not been installed. I installed and that solved the problem. I should have checked for this right off and never assume. Thanks for your help.

Glad to hear everything is good. When I had gone over your System Details, I had not seen a player. That is why I asked.

Happy Computing!
