My Firefox popups the following error since 3 or 4 days: http://snag.gy/VDidk.jpg

It says: 'Error while syncing. Unkown error. Sync will try again.' And the link to https://services.mozilla.com/status/

The Mozilla link says Sync operates normally. My Sync do not operate normally since 4 days.

It's pretty annoying.

I did not change my computer, my password or username, I did change nothing. It worked until a week ago.

HI vilmos.nagy, There were some sync issues this past week that I also experienced this morning this same error. What I did to try to fix the issue:

  1. I reset my password
  2. Then I removed the account and readded it with the new password.

So far it has been successfully syncing for the last 4 hours without error. Then I had an error: 1407179852685 Sync.Collection DEBUG mesg: POST fail 503 https://sync-30-us-west-2.sync.services.mozilla.com/1.5/4353633/storage/history

However there is a bug open for 502 errors with the "Uknown error" bug 104569, which is currently being investigated this week.

They are looking to have a better status page for sync https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1047498 yay!
