If you turn on "Show Timezones" in the New Event window, then close it, and open a New Event window again, the time zones will be shown, but the option will not be checked in the settings, checking it now will hide it instead

When I go to set a custom time for when an event's reminder will happen, it doesn't matter what date or time I put, when I click OK, it sets the date to be today, and the time to the next hour, if I use the date and time picker dropdown thing (clicking the arrow instead of typing it in), the date does set correctly, but the time is impossible to set even like that

I have been using Mozilla Thunderbird for many years on Windows desktop (now Win 11 ver 24H2 for x64 based systems).

In the last week or two Thunderbird has been giving me unwanted reminders for future events on my Google Calendar. (They are Thunderbird reminders, since they disappear when closing Thunderbird). If I try to dismiss them I get an Error Code: Modification failed. Status Code: 2,147,500,037, null Server Replied with 400

Dr google suggestions to get rid of them only apply to iOS or Android, nothing mentions windows. The problem does not occur on my iPhone.

If I just close the reminder windows they reappear in a few minutes.

I uninstalled and reloaded to be sure I had the latest Thunderbird.

We have bought a new computer from our tech guy before. This time, all was fine except for the Thunderbid calendar. The 20 GB of email files are all there and email still works. Only the calendar is blank. Our guy admits he dislikes Mozilla and rarely deals with it. Is there any way we can find the contents of the calendar? The old computer is still here in our house, but we only have one monitor. I had birthdays, lots of birthdays setup as repeating events. I hate to lose that.

This is odd as we didn't lose anything the last time we bought a new computer from same guy. We already were running Windows 11, so that is not the issue.

1) Sometimes you need to saven a print screen of the email the way it arrived. You do that by making a print screen form the email in the viewer. This is not only compact, but holds data one needs as proof of how and when the e-mail arrived. When you do that on the dat the email arrived or was sent, you can see the time, but not the date. So you have to remember to make a print screen the next day. Because only than you can see a date. Is it possible to show a date of today when an incoming or sent email is viewed in the viewer. 2) Sometimes you want to convert an email to an agenda item next week or so. When you do that, you cab see the full text of the email appearing in the agenda item, but not the date you received or sent this email. That is unpractical. Can you fix this?

I have a LAN connected desktop Windows 11 computer using Thunderbird 140.10.0esr (32-bit) synced to two different Apple calendars with no issues.

I also have two Wi-Fi connected laptop Windows 11 computers using Thunderbird 150.0 (64-bit) each synced to the same two Apple calendars above. I haven't had any sync issues with these until lately and I believe they are setup exactly the same as the desktop computer above.

For example if I attempt to "Add" a calendar entry I will get the following error message: "If you're seeing this message after snoozing or dismissing a reminder and this is for a calendar you do not want to add edit events for, you can mark this calendar as read-only to avoid such experience in future. To do so, get to the calendar properties by right clicking on this calendar in the list in the calendar or task view."

I have tried removing the calendar and adding it back but I still get the same intermittent sync issues and get these type of error messages. I have no extensions.

Not sure if this might be a software bug in the latest 150.0 (64-bit) release because 140.10esr (32-bit) appears to work fine on my desktop computer.

I used to get REMINDERS for all events/tasks until about some months ago. But now I don't get the reminders for most events/tasks. rearly I do get reminders randomly and ocasionally. I have been using TB (Thunderbird) for many years without any problems. I update TB religeously as updates become available. Please advise the fix. Thanks in advance! Anil Deshpande

It seems lately that when I simply open a calendar entry to see what the contents are, then close it without making any changes, it sends an update to all those involved that something changed (as seen in the picture).

Also, when I accept an invite event and tell it not to send a response, it always does. This has been happening for as long as I can remember, and I cannot figure out a way to stop it, no matter what I do.

Anyone have any ideas for either of these issues?

There is currently no setting in the Thunderbird calendar for a recurring date on the "last workday" of each month. This is very necessary for certain recurring dates, such as payments issued online monthly on that date.

This function is included e.g. in the Nextcloud calendar app, but not in the Thunderbird mail calendar.

Is this something coming soon?

if I enter an appointment in my Google-calendar in Thunderbird, it is visible in Google but not in Thunderbird. The problem appeared a few days ago. Newest update is installed.

Where is the catch?

Hi there! After transferring Thunderbird from my old to my new computer, the calender does not show any appointment. Even it I set a new one this is not shown. But all appointments still exist because if I search for them the are shown in a list. Is there anyone who has an idea what went wrong? Thank you for any help! Norbert from Berlin

Problem with recurring events in the caldav (external) calendar. If you delete one instance of an event (today), events for previous days are automatically created.

I got an email to attend a meeting. Thunderbird popped up a screen for me to pick where to store the event, Outlook, Google or iCal. I tried all 3 and did not get it added to Thunderbird calendar. Can this be automated?
