Ihave installed and configured Google-4-TBSync addon to synchronise contacts between Google and Thunderbird and all works fine.

Just got an email from Google entitled "[Action Required] Mark AI agent OAuth clients as agentic for Google Workspace MCP by Nov 11, 2026"

Does anyone know if that is sometyhing I need to do for the addon to carry on working?

After new installation I want to use my profile of the former installation. In principle I followed the procedure of the article "An einem anderen Ort wiederherstellen". After that when starting thunderbird it always asks me to create a new account.

Does anyone know what is missing?

Hi Despite I make reminders (I get the bell symbol for the event) for events in calendar, I don't receive alarms any more. If I have Thunderbird open at the time for the alarm, I might get an alarm. If I then postpone the event I don't receive the new alarm. I have had Thunderbird and calendar for several years and it has worked without any problems, I would receive alarms occured for the time I didn't have Thunderbird open, when I opened Thunderbird. I did get the alarms, also when I postponed an event. But for long it hasn't worked. I can't rely on the calendar not receiving alarms/reminders. I have tried to delete/remove Thunderbird and install again, that didn't help. I hope someone can help me, please. Answers in Danish are welcome. Best Joyanna

I'm not sure how to make a feature request, but here is one. Can it be made easier to sort message filters alphabetically? I currently have over two hundred of them, because each site I sign up for gets a unique email alias, and I set up associated filters for them (each goes into a dedicated folder in my Inbox). It's a pain to manually sort them in the list.

Since yesterdayevening I am experiencing problems with connecting to imap.one.com with all four of my accounts in Thunderbird 157.0.1 (64-bits). It says something like "Connecting to the server at imap.one.com with username XX@XX.XX failed" (translated to English) Mailsystem at one.com (webmail) and in my Android (Bluemail-app) works fine. I tried to fill in the right passwords, even changed a password and tried the new one, but still no effect.

Thunderbird will not let me move messages to the trash folder. If I do move a message to the trash bin the message will re-appear in the in-box. I have tried to follow the steps in the Mozilla support website but that did not work. When I try to delete a message I get the following:

I am using an HP desktop machine running W11. This problem did not happen until I switched to the W11 machine.

Hi there I have been using Thunderbird for many years to manage the same many mail accounts on diverse PCs. I prefer using a portable version from portableapps.com, partly because when it comes to transferring to another gadget, it suffices just moving the portable folder, and I do not have to create dozens of accounts in a fresh install. Of late, I have been getting frequent irritating error messages for 2 Yahoo accounts. It connects to them & I can receive mail, but for automatic connections to the server in between, I keep getting error messages like: The current operation on 'inbox' did not succeed.' The mail account to abc@yahoo.com responded: p.', ... etc The other day, after reading about possible solutions from some forums, I decided to just delete both accounts and used the recommended Thunderbird connection settings for Yahoo to create the 2 accounts anew. I thought the problem was solved, only to have the same alerts every now & then reappearing, which amounts to a lot, if you have Thunderbird on many hours a day. I consistently update Thunderbird, the moment I'm alerted to a new version. I also have Gmail, Outlook, AOL(AIM) & other accounts, but not get similar issues. How do I permanently solve this problem? Hello, I am having an issue that Emails which are displayed in the reading area disapper for appr. 2 minutes. Afterwards they appear again. I have not been able to find out if this is a problem in Thunderbird, or if another application is causing this. I have read an article that Avast Antivirus is temporarily locking folders during scan. Maybe someone has had the same topic and can give me a hint where to search for the root cause. Thank you.

Hi, I am running a windows 10 with Thunderbird version 157.0.1 (64bit) IMAP version. I am having problems with quite a few of my old messages not wanting to open when I click on them. This is the message that pops up (Server mail.daystar.io has disconnected. The server may have gone down or there may be a network problem.) mail.daystar.io is my carrier.

I have been getting 'message blocked due to spam content' errors trying to send messages for the last two months on messages as short as three words. Not all but over half of them.

I like the new support for Outlook. Thank you very much. This was the first year that I did not spend >16 hours rebuilding accounts each January. It is also nice that this support automatically transfered incoming emails to the Local Inbox.

Just recently, Spectrum Internet dropped POP3 support and I was able to setup IMAP.

Gee, It would be nice if there was just one more checkbox in the Account Setup which would automatically transfer IMAP messages to the Local Inbox.

Can this be added to the wish list?

Is there a way to search the message filters for a particular address? Each time I sign up to a site, they get a unique email alias, so I have about two hundred of them, along with associated sorting rules (the sorting of these filters is another issue, needs to be made easier). But sometimes I can't remember which filter takes care of the email address for a particular site. I sometimes need to make adjustments. It would be a pain to go through each filter, to find the one in question.

I have had the same signature attachment for several years on my Thunderbird email, but for the last week, new messages and replies are no longer bringing in the signature image for my emails. Additionally, if I go into settings and try to choose the signature as a reset mechanism, the 'choose' button does not react at all....does not go to file selection window where I can reselect the signature again. I can create a v-card, but it is also not attaching. The attached image appears as if everthing is set-up correctly, but the feature is not functioning. Please advise.
