The new version of Thunderbird 11.1 for Android does not import account settings properly, one can only see Outbox, nothing else. I have the latest beta and then tried to import my settings from the beta to 11.1, after importing all i have access to is my Outbox, morning else shows up, no inbox etc at all. Think it's an import bug

Hi... When i receive a new email it opens up into "Compose" if I was to answer or forward the email and not into "read only mode" Can you help me 😀 Kind regards Kristian

I just updated to K-9 mail 12.0 on CalyxOS 6.10.20 Which is an Android version 15 K-9 mail crashes on startup. Clearing cache does not work. I'm asking here before i clear all data and try again

I've been using Thunderbid Mobile from early beta but I've never managed to achieve what the desktop application (and many other applications) do out of the box: I want threaded views of an email conversation to display both sent and received emails (as well as those archived). I expected this to work out-of-the-box, but it has never worked and I've never been able to figure out how to tweak settings to make it work. I thought the unified view might allow what I want, but if I enable my "Inbox" and "Sent" (and Archive) folders to be unified I get a merged view of their content but the threaded view of emails does not work, I sent items separate from replies received to these.

I need help how to fix this because it has become severely limiting and it is pushing me to switch to another client if I can't find a solution.

Hi. I'm using the android app of Thunderbird but, when composing a new mail, or editing a draft, I cannot edit the fonts and the paragraph properties. There's no easy way to write in bold or in underline, or to add a link, or to add a list. Am I missing something? Please help. Thank you.

Does the thunderbird team have any plans to expand beyond being an email client and offer their own email service in the future? (I can't wait (I can but I'm really hyped)).

I try to download the app from the playstore, and it says Thunderbird will install soon, but soon never comes. I never get to the stage where you confirm the path name

My primary email (which has been used as the login email for many, many accounts) is on an email server which only supports TLS 1.0. I have contacted the sys admin before and was told they are planning to upgrade "some day" but that was over two years ago so I'm not optimistic.

I've gotten Thunderbird desktop to work with the account by downgrading the minimum TLS level. Recently, I've started using Thunderbird mobile on my phone (as the latest Gmail app update stopped working with my email account -- no doubt for the same reason) and it was working fine but I just bought a new phone and transferred my apps to it. I set Thunderbird mobile up exactly the same way as I did on my old phone, but it is refusing to sign in, citing a protocol problem (so I'm suspecting the stupid TLS 1.0 issue). I don't understand why this worked on my old phone but not on the new one -- the old one is on an earlier version of Android -- could that be it? (Both versions of Thunderbird mobile say they are version 11.1).

So, what can I do about this? There doesn't seem to be any way to downgrade the TLS version on the mobile software. Spending the next two months going through every account I've opened on the internet and changing the associated email account probably isn't as fun as it sounds and I'm inclined to not try finding out. Persuading my email provider to move into the 21st century is probably easier said than done. If I can't change Thunderbird mobile to fix this, does anyone know of another Android email app which would work? Not being able to access my emails on my cell phone would be a significant issue for me.

the latest release of thunderbird android 12.0 states under new:

• Add support for avatars in account settings

where can i find that setting? or is this a bug?

The font size settings appear to have been removed from General Settings or anything below that. They can be found using the search function, and they do work when changed, but I've seen the font size go back to default more than once. So, at the moment, they're kind of hidden and ephemeral.

I have several email accounts that are hosted at one.com. With all these accounts I cannot retrieve messages from the IMAP-folders other than from the Inbox. I have tried with reinstalling the Thunderbird app, both betaversion and the stable version and subsequently I also have reinstalled all email accounts. I cannot find anything in the settings that solvs this issue. Anyone who knows what the problem can be and how to solve it?

Iam unable to find how/where to create additional folders. With desktop version I have created a number of folders. I like organize and segregate my emails into various groups. Especially the ones I choose to preserve rather than delete.

Für Android gibt es bei E-Mails K-9. Ich habe noch keine Lösung für Kalender und Aufgaben gefunden, die mit Thunderbird unter Windows/Linux synchronisieren. Kann mir jemand dazu Lösungen anbieten?

Heb helaas Thunderbird email van mijn telefoon verwijderd en nu wil ik deze weer installeren op mijn smartphone met android 13 maar na tientallen pogingen is het niet gelukt. Ook handmatig lukt niet krijg error codes. Wat is de oplossing om uw email weer op mijn telefoon terug te krijgen. Mvg Jan
