Firefox 141.0 update has made everything move very slow. Pages will only partially load then take several seconds to completely fill out. If you click on something, the little dot on the browser tab will be gray for several seconds and then eventually turn blue and open the page. It's like it's having to think a little bit before opening the page. Everything just seems delayed.

Starting today when using firefox browser my cursor has started to flicker between the pointer and the hand erratically. There is also a delay when trying to type anything in a text box, search bar or browser address bar which is making it hard to operate. I have refreshed, restarted and also reinstalled firefox a fresh and still no luck. It's specific to my wacom pen that i use. I have been using firefox for decades and don't want to change to another browser - but if i cant solve this I might have to.

I also reinstalled wacom drivers, disabled the hardware performance setting in firefox, cleared cache, updated any of my windows drivers that needed it. And now am at a loss. any ideas?

As the title says. Youtube pages consume me a lot of CPU (about 15% of usage when normally is less than 1%) and, when opened it keeps using more and more memoy (on task manager i arrived to 44.000MB for a total of 100% on memory) I already tried to refresh it instead of unistalling and the issue wasn't solved. I'm not sure but it seems that there is no memory leak in Troubleshoot mode.

So, I was downloading some Patreon stuff and Patreon isnt well optimized for browsing older posts. When you have to load multiple more pages dating backwards it slows down the Firefox quite a lot, pretty much to the point when the Firefox reach non-responding state in worst cases.

But luckily for me Patreon worked fine for me tonight, just when I was closing the Firefox, it took like 5 seconds for it to close.

I spent some short time by responding messages on Steam and Discord and then I started new Firefox window, this time I went on Netflix and when the page loaded my monitor went black and then after like few seconds it returned back with "Displayport" message on the top left corner.

When I checked Event viewer, there is nothing at all. When I checked about:crashes, there is also nothing.

Any idea what was that and how to prevent that?

this is the third time i have asked this. I love firefox but your latest updates have slowed down firefox and does things on its own like it has Ai. Google changes like this too and I will no longer us google. if nothing else let me download an older firefox. Rich Stonehouse

Yesterday after an update Firefox ate the whole physical memory and swap space. In 2025, how can it be that You cannot write a software without so huge bug? Absurd! I've been using Firefox for many years, it never caused a system halt, it is very disappointing for me.

Screen popped up invite to customize tab I added a picture, then I tried to play tetris type game and the cursor jumps around so much I can't play it. I don't understand techie stuff and do not know how to undo this change

I have Firefox running on 3 machines, only one of them is synced to my Firefox account, so that means that I am not running the same addons on all of them. I have Firefox running on Windows 10 and the two other are running on Windows 11. From time to time, I notice that Firefox is running slow and its unable to open normal websites like facebook, instagram, youtube, or any other website that I normally browse, and when I check the Task Manager I can notice one unusual exe running named "crashhelper.exe" which is located in the Firefox installation directory and its signed by Mozilla. Once I kill this task Firefox continues working as nothing happened. This is happening since the last update which was few weeks ago (if I remember correctly). What is this app doing and why it is making Firefox stop opening websites?

The latest versions of Firefox 141 (and 142 beta 1) do not allow the Windows taskbar to appear when I move the mouse to the bottom of the screen. This happens on Windows 10 with the auto-hide taskbar setting enabled. In previous Firefox versions, this worked fine (except for one older version where it briefly broke). I’m not running Firefox in fullscreen mode, and I have no modifications or themes that could interfere. I tested this on a fresh, clean installation of Firefox — the issue still occurs. After downgrading to versions 140 and 139, everything works correctly again. Interestingly, I also tested the Firefox 141 Release Candidate Build 1 from here: 🔗 https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/candidates/141.0-candidates/ In that version, the issue only occurred in private browsing mode. Could someone please help me resolve this or confirm it as a bug? Thanks in advance!

When i have several Firefox windows open and then minimize all of them, They will not maximize unless I open a new Firefox window and keep it up. If I minimize it it joins the other window in refusing to open back up. What is happening here?
